Comfort plus cuteness makes for a winning combo, so punch up your look with a poncho! Create a fresh look by reinventing a classic piece and stay cozy with this nouveau hoodie overhaul.
To create, make a cut from the side seam of the sweatshirt body as well as each side of the inner-arm. Open up the neckline with a crew neck cut-out. Be sure to cut ONLY the top layer so you don’t loose the hood. Close up the back by pinning large safety pins (or feel free to sew) across your new open seam. Cut the bottom sides (both front and back) into a curved shape, keeping the back a bit longer than the front. Secure the sleeve to the torso, which creates a poncho silhouette. Use large safety pins and pin approximately halfway down the bodice. For the armhole, attach buttons on the top and bottom front sections. Use any button you like and attach with safety pins or sew. Use the same buttons to add accents to the shoulder seam.
I need to do this!! Love it!
So… The semester is almost ending, after Thanksgiving break there will be 3 more weeks of classes left and then Christmas break. After that, one more semester and I’ll be graduating in May! Wow, where have the time gone?? It makes me so nervous to think, “This is it, it’s almost over.” I really don’t think I am ready to part with my friends. We’ve been together for 4 years; seen each other’s faces from the crack of dawn to bedtime. I must say, these years are the most precious and wonderful time I’ve had in my life, and I don’t regret a thing (well, maybe I could have worked a little harder on school works, haha). Late night studying, wild drives around campus, road trips, hockey games, making fun of stupid classmates, venting about professors who don’t have a clue (ever), and best of all, our conversations that never made any sense and contain the grossest, nastiest, random-est, dumbest, perverted inside jokes known to mankind. Dear friends, I am very thankful for having you all in my life. Without you, college would not have been as exciting as I think it is now. College would not be complete without you. Thanks for making my life.
I Love You. <3

Since I updated my Twitter with a new skin and a tweet, I have to be fair with my tumblr. Here it is, a new post, in a looooong while. Honestly, summer isn’t my favorite season. The heat, the humidity, I can’t take it!!! The one thing, scratch that, two things I like about summer is my birthday {7/30} and it is a time of NO SCHOOL, NO HOMEWORK. Though I am sorry to my friends, because summer is like a time of hibernation for me. I do absolutely nothing. My poor phone would sometime just sit on top of the table, dead, for a few days or a few weeks. So dear friends, I am so sorry if you don’t hear anything back from me! Also, I am only writing this here because I am forbidden to announce it on facebook, I will be traveling to the other side of the world July~August! I’ll be back around 8/8, so don’t miss me too much! I love you all!!
Ok, so I was bored and decided to look up some things that would give me ideas on how to decorate my room in the new apartment next year. I must say, even as an interior design major, I have no clue where to begin. I have always been sharing room with my siblings that I just never get the chance to “do my own thing”! But looking through some websites reminded me why I switched out from international business.
When I was living in Hong Kong, I consider our apartment big comparing to other families with 6+ members. It is such a crowded city that everything is so compacted and narrow. I remember when I was little I LOVED going to IKEA because they always have the coolest furnitures that I know we can never afford. I especially love those multi-functional type of furnitures. They can save so much space and do so many things at the same time! I truly respect and envy the designers’ effort and talents.
Now let’s play a little game. Guess what’s in this box?

The answer is: A WHOLE ROOM!

Isn’t this amazing? Ah, I am so jealous of this person’s creativity and talents!!
